Job Title: EMT-B (Emergency & Non-Emergency Transport)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part Time
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate EMT-B to provide both emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in all situations.
Non-Emergency EMT-B Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to medical appointments, facilities, or other designated locations.
Assist patients during transport, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Monitor vital signs and provide basic medical assistance as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Accurately document patient information and maintain detailed records.
Follow non-emergency medical transportation protocols and guidelines.
Work collaboratively with the transportation team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Emergency EMT-B Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patients’ conditions.
Administer basic medical treatments such as CPR, wound care, and splinting.
Safely transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their stability.
Communicate critical information to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
Monitor and restock medical supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited EMT-B training program.
Current EMT-B certification.
Strong knowledge of patient care, emergency procedures, and medical protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism.
Physically fit and capable of assisting patients with mobility and transfers.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
Ability to work well in a team and adapt to varying schedules.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
