Job Title: EMT-B (Emergency & Non-Emergency Transport)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part Time

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate EMT-B to provide both emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in all situations.

Non-Emergency EMT-B Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport patients to medical appointments, facilities, or other designated locations.

  • Assist patients during transport, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

  • Monitor vital signs and provide basic medical assistance as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Accurately document patient information and maintain detailed records.

  • Follow non-emergency medical transportation protocols and guidelines.

  • Work collaboratively with the transportation team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Emergency EMT-B Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patients’ conditions.

  • Administer basic medical treatments such as CPR, wound care, and splinting.

  • Safely transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their stability.

  • Communicate critical information to patients, families, and healthcare providers.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with medical protocols.

  • Monitor and restock medical supplies and equipment as needed.

Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited EMT-B training program.

  • Current EMT-B certification.

  • Strong knowledge of patient care, emergency procedures, and medical protocols.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism.

  • Physically fit and capable of assisting patients with mobility and transfers.

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to varying schedules.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
